The plea comes as a resident from Chicken Back Street in La Guerre Babonneau expresses frustration over not receiving water for two months while WASCO tanks have been reportedly overflowing.

The Monsignor Patrick Anthony Folk Research Centre launched the first phase of its official website on Friday 3rd May, 2024. The website, which will be rolled out in two more phases, will serve as an platform for Saint Lucians to access and share information on the island’s cultura heritage.

The National Cultural Centre, which was closed for the last two months for renovation is officially open to the public again. The renovations were prompted by concerns for patron and performer safety; the need for increased capacity and comfort; as well as a need to undertake technical improvements. Now the Cultural Development Foundation is appealing to show goers to play their part to preserve the renovations by following newly instituted rules.

The first night of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival took place on Tuesday April 30th at the Mindoo Philip Park. The night featured regional artistes and highlighted Caribbean culture through genres such as Soca, Reggae and Denery Segment.
